CHARACTERS

In the show, Ugo Ugo & Lhuga would talk to a character on their designated day.

Ugo Ugo & Lhuga
The two children. Played by Hideto Tajima and Yuka Koide respectively.

TV-kun
He appears in the beginning & end of each episode and teaches Ugo Ugo & Lhuga a proverb.
His catchphrase is "Okiraku Gokuraku!"
Fun fact: There is a show named after him called "Tensai TV-kun".
Surreal-kun
A self-proclaimed Frenchman who teaches the children French at the beginning of his segment. However, he's more well-known for his witty two-choice questions.
Tomato-chan
She's got a tomato for a head and the eyes of a shoujo protagonist. She cries as a result of Ugo Ugo & Lhuga failing to understand her troubles...which is often.
Robot-kun
A robot that loves riddles. When the children get one right, he does a rocket punch. He can also fall apart if they answer wrong or have a tiny plane shoot out of his head(which is piloted by a smaller version of him.)
He has a sister(yellow) and a brother(green).
Tonosama
A character who resembles a daimyo and a daruma doll. He teaches Ugo Ugo & Lhuga old jokes and the Kansai dialect.
Twin Pigs
Also known as Buta-kun. As the name suggests, they are a pair of identical pig brothers. They'd play word games with Ugo Ugo & Lhuga while also venting about society. Their noses are constantly bleeding.
Apparently, their names are a play on Twin Peaks which was popular in Japan at the time.
Tony
Apparently, he's a DJ. He does impersonations and dance moves with the two.
Planet-chan
A character that debuted in Ugo Ugo Lhuga 2. In the show, Ugo Ugo & Lhuga would visit her planet by spaceship. In her segment, she'd do vocal exercises and tongue twisters with the children. At the end, she'd summon a shooting star. She was voiced by Yoko Oginome!
Oyaji No. 1
Another character who debuted in Ugo Ugo Lhuga 2. He gets cold very easily and runs a band with two members.
Goo
He exists. He didn't appear on the show very often...
